The embroidery from Tenango, Mexico, which is known as Tenangos, is a traditional colorful embroidery form, which represents a particular aesthetic vision of the reality based on nature-inspired motifs and is passed on from mother to daughter.
This piece is the result of the fusion of two craft forms in Mexico; on one hand, the beautiful and delicately drawn thread handwork on fine linen, made by artisan women from Queretaro, and on the other the great colorful embroidery of master artisans from Tenango.
Each table runner is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that takes several days to be made.
