Enjoy your hot cacao with this special drinking vessel! or use it as a container or decor accent.

In Mexico, the word jícara, comes from "xicalli " a Nahuatl word meaning a vessel or container. These bowls are often used to serve drinks such as tejate, made from maize and cacao, in indigenous communities. Smaller ones are used to drink mezcal.

Manufactured from the hard shell of the fruit of the Morro tree, these gems are decorated with elaborate carvings of motifs from flora and fauna.

Carving calabash is a pre-hispanic craft and no two are the same. Each Bowl comes with a stand made from plaited carrizo.
